The merger, demerger or business transfer legal auditors and their teams must possess in-depth multidisciplinary skills, in particular in the areas of valuation, accounting standards, and also, frequently, consolidation techniques and business law.
In practice, the auditor is also consulted by management and its advisors, during the project preparation and analysis phase. This tendency is encouraged by the CNCC.
BMA partners retained as auditors, have the benefit, in the efficient execution of their mission, of staff entirely familiar with this type of intervention and possessing collective experience. This is ensured by centralisation of the characteristics of all missions undertaken by the firm, and constitution of a substantial documentary asset.
